As is known, the first edition of Stefan Taranushenko's "swan song" - "Wooden Monumental Architecture of Left-Bank Ukraine" - was published in 1976 in a distorted form. Unfortunately, the manuscript was cut in half, the Ukrainian churches of the Bryansk region were not included in the publication, as well as most of the monuments that were not measured; the texts of the descriptions of the churches were greatly shortened; the reference apparatus was completely removed.
The currently proposed edition is the publication of the complete manuscript of Stefan Andriyovych's classic work, dedicated to the wooden sacral architecture of Left-Bank Ukraine.
