Arnie is a loser. A scraggly grin with steel-rimmed glasses and a face full of pimples. There's that one guy in every school that girls can't seem to see. Arnie lived like that until he saw Christina and fell in love with her. And it's not funny at all from the start, even though Christina is a machine. And then it gets scary...

Arnie will gradually restore the old Plymouth Fury he bought for next to nothing from the evil old man Roland Lebay. But every day the wreck with two predatory fins will take on an increasingly shiny appearance and for some reason will distance Arnie from his friend Dennis, provoke a quarrel with his parents. Arnie will get rid of acne, pump up his shoulders and meet a beautiful girl. But Christina will not share Arnie with anyone. The evil that was sleeping under the hood will wake up.
