The first volume of memoirs of the prominent Ukrainian scholar Yuriy Shevelyov (Sherekh) is an invaluable source for understanding Ukrainian history of the first half of the 20th century. The publication is illustrated for the first time and contains 248 photographs; some of them — from the Shevelyov family album — are published for the first time.
