Travel journalist Laura Blacklock embarks on a dream trip - a week on a luxury cruise ship. The Aurora sets sail from the coast, and Lo enjoys the clean air of the North Sea, picturesque landscapes and exquisite company - because only influential people are invited to the liner. But soon the idyll is shattered. On the first night, Lo hears a splash, as if a body has fallen overboard. And when she goes out onto the balcony, she notices a dark stain on the glass railing of the neighboring cabin, very similar to blood, a stain that disappears in a few minutes, as if nothing had happened... Lo calls the head of security, who promises to take up the investigation. However, in the morning it turns out that all the guests and staff are there - everyone except for the mysterious woman from the neighboring cabin, whom no one except Laura has seen. Did she really exist, or did Lo just dream it up? Laura seeks to prove that a murder has occurred, and that there may be a criminal on board.
