The Shot Revival is a spiritual, cultural, literary and artistic generation of the 1920s and 1930s of the 20th century. This is the era of creative individuals who came into conflict with the totalitarian regime. Most of the participants in this process were repressed. This edition includes works by Boris Antonenko-Davydovych (died in exile) "Purge", "Where Did Levanevsky Go", "Uncle Vasya's Protégé", "Who Is Jesus Christ", "Three Chechens", "SIZO"; Ivan Bahryany (served his sentence in special settlements in the Far East, which undermined the writer's health) "Skelka" (a historical poem), "Why I Don't Want to Return" to the USSR (a journalistic article), "Moritauri" (a dramatic story), reproductions of paintings by Mykhailo Boychuk (shot in Kyiv).
